Corn Dog Bites

Ingredients
  All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cornmeal 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Bacon drippings 2 Tablespoon, melted
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Buttermilk 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Frankfurters 16 Ounce (1 Package)
  Vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Combine flour, baking powder, salt, cornmeal, and sugar; stir in bacon drippings.
Combine egg, buttermilk, and soda; mix well.
Stir into flour mixture, mixing well.
Cut each frankfurter into 10 pieces.
Dip frankfurter sections into batter, coating completely.
Fry in 3 to 4 inches hot oil (375°) until golden, turning once; drain on paper towels.
Insert party picks, and serve immediately.
