Round Steak Sauerbraten

  Round steak 1 1⁄2 Pound (0.5 Inch Thick)
  Fat 1 Tablespoon
  Brown gravy mix 63⁄100 Ounce
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Instant minced onion 1 Tablespoon
  White wine vinegar 2 Tablespoon
  Brown sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ginger 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Teaspoon
  Bay leaf 1
  Hot buttered noodles 1 Cup (16 tbs)

Cut meat in 1-inch squares.
In a large skillet brown meat on all sides in hot fat.
Remove meat from skillet; add gravy mix and water.
Bring to boiling, stirring constantly.
Stir in remaining ingredients except noodles.
Return meat to skillet; cover.
Simmer 1 hour and 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove bay leaf.
Serve meat over hot buttered noodles.
