Ingredients
  Beef rump roast 4 Pound
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Vinegar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Lemon 1 , sliced but unpeeled
  Whole cloves 10
  Onion 1 Large, sliced
  Bay leaves 4
  Whole peppercorns 6
  Salt 2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Gingersnaps 12 , crumbled
Directions

MAKING
1) In a deep ceramic or glass bowl put the meat.
2) In a bowl mix water, vinegar, lemon, cloves, onion, bay leaves, peppercorns, salt, and sugar.
3) Pour the mixture over meat.
4) Cover and place in refrigerator for 24-36 hours.
5) During marinating, turn meat several times.
6) In slow cooker put the beef.
7) Pour 1-cup marinade over meat.
8) Cook covered on low for 6-8 hours.
9) Take out the meat.
10) Strain meat juices and place it back into the pot.
11) Turn the heat to high and add gingersnaps.
12) Cook covered on High for 10-14 minutes.
13) When the meat is cooked, slice it.
14) Pour the finished sauce over meat.

SERVING
15) Serve hot.
