Wine Sauce

Wine sauce is a sauce recipe that has wine as one the ingredient. Wine is added to the sauce for extra flavor. Both White wine or Red wine can be used to make wine sauce.

How to make wine sauce?

Wine sauce can be used to make pastas and curries. Main ingredients are wine (white/red), chopped onion, minced garlic, oil, tomato puree, ground pepper and salt. Sauté the chopped onion and garlic in oil. Add tomato puree, wine, salt and pepper and simmer until thickens. Variations can be done by adding mustard powder or any other flavoring spice like thyme, basil and parsley. Chopped fish and chicken pieces can be added to make the wine sauce richer. Pour this sauce on your pasta dish and serve.
