Red Sauce

Red sauce can be any sauce red in color. Basically, tomato sauce is called red sauce. One more variation of red sauce is the Italian spaghetti red sauce. This sauce is eaten as a condiment with any main or side dish or can be poured over any dish.

How to make red sauce?

For basic red sauce you need ripe tomatoes, onion, sugar, salt, garlic, oil and vinegar. Blanch the tomatoes and keep aside. Chop the onions and garlic. Heat oil in a pan. Add garlic and onions. Sauté the vegetables, then add tomatoes and other ingredients. Cook until sauce thickens. Many other variations are also there for red sauce.
