Dill Sauce

Dill sauce is made from freshly chopped dill and goes great with grilled or baked fish, especially salmon. Served chilled it may be used to top the fish or served on the side. The usual ingredients that are used in making dill sauce are sour cream, mustard (Dijon style) and lemon juice. Salt may or may not be added to the sauce. The sour cream used may be fat or non-fat depending upon preference. Some recipes also add mayonnaise to the preparation.
