Easy Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients
  Bacon 1⁄2 Pound, chopped
  Chopped onions 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Green pepper 1 , chopped
  Garlic 4 Clove (20 gm), minced
  Beef broth 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Bottled chili sauce 12 Ounce
  Brown sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Honey 2 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 4 Tablespoon
  Grated lemon peel 1 Tablespoon, grated
  Cider vinegar 2 Tablespoon
  Hot pepper sauce 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Cayenne pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground cumin 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ginger 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Bay leaf 1
  Ground cloves 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Unsalted butter 3 Tablespoon, cut into bits
Directions

In a saucepan cook the bacon over moderate heat, stirring, until it is golden With a slotted spoon, transfer to a plate and pour off all but 2 tablespoons fat.
Add the onions and green pepper and cook, covered, stirring occasionally, for 8 to 10 minutes or until the onions are golden brown.
Stir in the garlic and cook 1 minute.
Add the reserved bacon and all the remaining ingredients except the butter.
Simmer for 30 minutes, skimming, and let cool 15 minutes.
Discard the bay leaf.
Transfer the sauce to a blender and puree until combined well.With the motor running, add the butter and continue to blend until it is incorporated.
Transfer to jars with tight fitting lids and keep refrigerated.
