Hard Sauce

This hard sauce recipe can be prepared with vanilla or any other flavor of choice. a pudding dessert sauce, this hard sauce is best prepared with maple sugar with a combo of lemon rind, nutmeg or cinnamon for flavor. Combined together and cooled, this is a delicious dessert sauce.
Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Granulated brown sugar/Maple sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs), powdered
  Vanilla/Any other flavoring 1 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1.Cream the butter until very soft, stir in the sugar and the flavoring.
2.Set in a cool place until required for use.
3.A grating of lemon-rind or nutmeg, or a sprinkle of powdered cinnamon may be used instead of the vanilla.
4.Cream or milk may be added, with more sugar to make more sauce.
SERVING
5.Serve sauce with a hot pudding
