Maple Sauce

Ingredients
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Walnut meats 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Maple sugar/2 cups brown sugar 1 Pound (2 Cups)
Directions

MAKING
1.Add the water to the maple sugar and boil until it reaches the thread stage (230°-234° F.).
2.Add the walnut meats broken into small pieces.
3.This sauce is good with ice cream, blanc mange or custard.
SERVING
4.Serve hot or cold with ice cream
