Marshmallow Sauce

This marshmallow sauce is a creamy and luxuriant dessert sauce made with milk and marshmallows. Prepared with added sugar, the marshmallow sauce is a cooked dessert sauce that can be used with puddings and served over sweet bakes and cakes.
Ingredients
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Milk 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Marshmallows 1⁄2 Pound
  Water 2 Tablespoon
Directions

MAKING
1.Boil the sugar and milk to the thread stage (230°-234° F.).
2.Cool and beat until thick and white.
3.Set in boiling water and stir until thin enough to pour.
4.Stir the marshmallows with the water in a double boiler until smooth.
5.Pour the syrup over the melted marshmallows and beat together.
6.Keep warm, but not hot
SERVING
7.Serve over ice cream or waffles
