|Ground meat||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dry red wine||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped oregano/2 teaspoons dried oregano leaves||2 Tablespoon|
|Ground black pepper||To Taste|
|Chopped basil/1 teaspoon dried basil||1 Tablespoon|
o the meat base add the remaining ingredients.
Simmer 1 hour, until mixture is thick. (If you want a thinner mixture, add 8 ounces of canned tomato puree.)
Freeze in portions suitable for your family's use.
