Baby Turnips In Mustard Sauce
|Peeled quartered baby turnips||1 Pound|
|White wine||3 Tablespoon|
|Cornstarch||1⁄2 Teaspoon (Corn Flour)|
|Sour cream||2 Tablespoon (CrÃ¨me Fraiche)|
|Chopped fresh parsley||2 Tablespoon|
Put the turnips in a dish with the white wine.
Sprinkle with the sugar, salt and pepper.
Cover and microwave on HIGH for 10 minutes.
Leave to stand for 3 minutes.
Transfer the turnips to a heated serving dish and put the cooking liquid in a bowl.
Add the cornstarch (cornflour) and mustard and mix to a smooth paste, then put the bowl in the microwave oven for 30 seconds on HIGH.
Whisk the sauce vigorously and add the sour cream (creme fraiche).
Pour over the turnips, sprinkle with chopped parsley
