Whole Fish In Tomato Sauce

Whole Fish In Tomato Sauce has a nourishing taste. The tomatoe sauce with garam masala powder gives the Whole Fish In Tomato Sauce a dynamic taste.
Ingredients
  Whole fish surmai/Ramas 500 Gram (Tuna Or Salmon)
  Salt To Taste
For tomato sauce
  Large tomatoes 1⁄2 Kilogram
  Oil 1 Tablespoon
  Onion 1 , coarsely chopped
  Garlic 8 Clove (40 gm), crushed
  Ginger piece 1⁄2 , finely chopped
  Chilli powder 1 Teaspoon
  Garam masala powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Vinegar 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Chopped coriander leaves 1 Tablespoon (For Garnish)
Directions

Clean and apply salt to the fish.
Keep for 15-20 minutes.
Wash thoroughly and slash the fish on either side in 3-4 places, keeping the fish whole.
Apply a little salt on the fish.
Bring to a boil 4 cups of water in a large bowl in the microwave.
This will take about 8 minutes.
Place tomatoes in the hot water and keep aside for 3 minutes, and then plunge them into cold water.
Skin and chop coarsely.
Keep aside.
In another shallow microwave dish mix in oil, onion and garlic and microwave covered for 3 minutes.
Mix in ginger, chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt and microwave further for 2 minutes.
Stir in tomatoes, vinegar and sugar, and microwave covered for 3-5 minutes more, stirring occasionally until the liquid is mushy.
