Stuffed Pears In Chocolate Sauce
|Ground almonds||3 Ounce|
|Fresh lemon juice||3 Tablespoon|
|Pears||6 Large (Crisp Variety)|
|Semi-sweet chocolate||7 Ounce (Plain)|
|Sour cream||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Crme Fraiche)|
|Pear liqueur||2 Tablespoon|
Mix together the ground almonds, sugar, egg and butter.
Beat until smooth.
Add the lemon juice to a bowl of iced water.
Peel and core the pears, halve and put immediately in the water and lemon juice.
Remove the pears and pat dry on kitchen paper.
Stuff the centers with the ground almond mixture.
Put in a round dish, leaving the center empty.
Microwave, uncovered, on HIGH for 8 minutes.
When the pears are tender, leave to cool.
