Beets In Orange Sauce
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Orange juice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Canned whole beets||2 Pound, drained (2 Cans Of 1 Pound Each, Or Sliced Beets)|
Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in a 1 1/2 qt.glass casserole dish.
Stir in orange juice and lemon juice.
Cover and microwave 3 to 4 minutes or until thickened.
Stir every minute during cooking.
Add beets and microwave 5 to 7 minutes or until hot.
Stir once during cooking.
Let stand 3 minutes before serving.
If desired, garnish with orange slices.
