Pineapple Sundae Sauce
|Canned crushed pineapple||8 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Light corn syrup||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Grated orange rind||1 Tablespoon|
Drain pineapple well; save juice.
Combine pineapple juice, corn syrup, sugar, and salt in metal fondue pot; mix.
Place on fondue stand over direct high heat.
Cook until bubbles form in mixture in center of pot, stirring until sugar dissolves.
Cook slowly until syrup thickens to consistency of thick syrup, about 10 minutes, stirring often.
Stir in pineapple and orange rind.
