Pineapple Sundae Sauce

Here is a very different take on the usual pineapple sauce; this Pineapple Sundae Sauce is the best you can pour over your favorite desserts and snacks! Given the orange flavor, this Pineapple Sundae Sauce tastes even better. Give it a try and you will just fall for it!
Ingredients
  Canned crushed pineapple 8 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)
  Light corn syrup 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Sugar 3 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Dash
  Grated orange rind 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Drain pineapple well; save juice.
Combine pineapple juice, corn syrup, sugar, and salt in metal fondue pot; mix.
Place on fondue stand over direct high heat.
Cook until bubbles form in mixture in center of pot, stirring until sugar dissolves.
Cook slowly until syrup thickens to consistency of thick syrup, about 10 minutes, stirring often.
Stir in pineapple and orange rind.
