Ham Bites In Cherry Almond Sauce
|Wine/Cider vinegar||2 Tablespoon|
|Prepared mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Ground cloves||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Canned cherry pie filling||21 Ounce (1 Can Of 1 Pound And 5 Ounces)|
|Fully cooked ham||2 Pound, cut into 3/4 inch cubes|
|Toasted slivered almonds||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
Combine first 4 ingredients in blazer pan of chafing dish.
Stir in cherry pie filling.
Heat over direct moderate flame, stirring carefully, until bubbly hot.
Reduce heat; add ham and butter or margarine and mix gently.
Place blazer pan in water jacket; cover and heat to serving temperature.
Just before serving sprinkle with almonds.
Guests spear ham bites with long picks or cocktail forks.
