Herb Sauce

Ingredients
  Butter 4 Tablespoon
  Onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), pressed
  Tomatoes 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
  Water 2 Tablespoon
  Dried oregano 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Italian herbs 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Directions

Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Saute onion and garlic until onion is golden.
Stir in tomatoes, water, oregano, Italian herbs and salt.
Bring to a boil.
Cover and simmer about 15 minutes.
Makes 1 cup.
