Baked Rice With Cheese Tomato Sauce
|Tomato juice||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|White pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Dry mustard||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Angostura aromatic bitters||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Cooked rice||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Grated american cheese||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Buttered bread crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Melt margarine in a skillet over low heat.
Stir in flour, tomato juice, salt, white pepper, mustard and Angostura; cook over low heat until smooth and thickened, stirring constantly.
Arrange a layer of rice in a greased 1 quart baking dish; spoon sauce over rice and sprinkle with cheese.
Repeat layering until all ingredients are used.
Top with crumbs.
Bake in preheated 350Â° F oven 30 minutes, or until bubbly.
