Penticton Peach Pear Chili Sauce
|Hot red pepper||1 , finely chopped|
|Brown sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Mixed spices||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Coarsely chop tomatoes, onions, peaches, and pears.
Put into a large pot.
Add red pepper, vinegar, brown sugar, and spices.
Bring to boiling, reduce heat, and simmer gently 2 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Remove spice bag.
Ladle into sterilized jars, seal, and store in a cool place.
