Green Pepper Sauce

Ingredients
  Butter 4 Tablespoon
  Green pepper 1 Cup (16 tbs), minced
  All purpose flour 4 Tablespoon, sifted
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Black pepper To Taste
  Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Finely shredded cheddar cheese 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Melt butter in a 1 quart saucepan.
Add green pepper.
Saute until pepper is golden.
Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
Add milk.
Stir constantly over medium heat until sauce thickens.
Reduce heat.
Add cheese; stir until melted.
Makes about 2 cups.
