Halibut In Creamy Wine Sauce
|Frozen halibut steaks||24 Ounce, thawed (Two 12 Ounce Packet)|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Dry white wine||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Half and half||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
Pat halibut steaks dry; place in crock pot.
Combine flour, sugar and salt.
In saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour mixture.
When well blended, add wine and milk and cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
Allow sauce to boil 1 minute while stirring.
Pour sauce over fish.
Cover and cook on high setting 2 1/2 to 3 hours.Transfer halibut to serving platter; garnish with lemon.
