|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Rum||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), flamed|
|Pineapple juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Process pineapple, sugar, and rum in an electric blender until completely smooth.
Add pineapple juice if more liquid is needed.
Turn pineapple mixture into a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
Mix water and cornstarch, stir into mixture in saucepan, and cook until sauce is slightly thickened.
