Pineapple Sauce

Pineapple sauce is a fruity dessert sauce prepared with pineapples, pineapple juice and rum along with sugar. Procesed and cooked together with water and cornstarch, I use the pineapple sauce often for fruit cakes or rolls and even sponge cakes fo choice. it makes a yummy cake even yummier!
Ingredients
  Cubed pineapple 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (Canned Or Fresh)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Rum 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), flamed
  Pineapple juice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Process pineapple, sugar, and rum in an electric blender until completely smooth.
Add pineapple juice if more liquid is needed.
Turn pineapple mixture into a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
Mix water and cornstarch, stir into mixture in saucepan, and cook until sauce is slightly thickened.
