Celery In Grapefruit Sauce
|Celery||1 Bunch (100 gm)|
|All purpose flour||2 Tablespoon|
|Milk||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Grapefruit juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Grapefruit segments||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (For Garnish)|
|Paprika pepper||To Taste (For Garnish)|
Wash, trim and cut the celery into 5 cm/2 inch pieces.
Cook in boiling salted water for 10 minutes.
Drain and place in a shallow serving dish.
Melt the margarine in a pan and stir in the flour.
Cook for 1 minute.
Remove from the heat and gradually blend in the milk.
Heat, stirring, until the sauce thickens.
Stir in the grapefruit juice and salt and pepper to taste.
Cook for 1 minute then pour over the celery.
Garnish with grapefruit segments and paprika pepper.
Serve with meat or fish.
