Handmade Melba Sauce
|Raspberries/Strawberries||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Cold water||1 Tablespoon|
Wash berries and place in a small saucepan with the 2 tablespoons water, sugar, and lemon juice.
Simmer together gently for 5 minutes and press through a fine sieve.
Return to a clean saucepan and thicken with 1 teaspoon arrowroot dissolved in 1 tablespoon cold water.
Chill before serving.
