Green Peas With Paprika Sauce

Ingredients
  Green peas 3 Cup (48 tbs) (Fresh Or Frozen)
  Water/Nonfat chicken broth / vegetable broth /sherry / wine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Ground paprika 2 Teaspoon
  Tomatoes with juice 2 Cup (32 tbs) (Chopped Fresh Or Low Sodium Canned)
  Black pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Bring 1 inch of water to a boil in a steamer.
Place peas in steamer basket or colander.
Cover and steam for 5 to 7 minutes.
Remove peas from heat and set aside.
Heat water, broth, sherry, or wine in a skillet over medium heat.
Add onion and garlic.
Cook and stir over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Add more liquid if necessary during this process.
Stir in paprika and cook for 1 minute.
Add tomatoes with juice and black pepper.
Bring to a boil, lower heat, and simmer for 10 minutes.
Transfer steamed green peas to a serving bowl and top with tomato sauce.
