Rum Raisin Sauce
|Orange||1 Large, juice and grated peel|
|Packed brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Water||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Sun-maid raisins||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Honey/Corn syrup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dark rum||3 Tablespoon|
In medium saucepan, combine orange juice and peel, and water.
Stir in cornstarch until smooth.
Add honey, brown sugar and salt.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat to low; simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes.
Add raisins and cook 1 minute longer.
Remove from heat and stir in rum to taste.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
