Beef Cubes In Mushroom-Wine Sauce
|Sirloin||1 Pound, cut into 1 inch cubes|
|Accent seasoning||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Hot fat||3 Tablespoon|
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Beef gravy||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Canned sliced mushrooms||3 Ounce|
|Crushed basil||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Cooking claret||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Trim excess fat from meat.
Dredge meat cubes in mixture of flour, Accent, salt and pepper.
Brown meat in hot fat.
Push meat to side of pan.
Add onion and garlic; cook for 3 minutes.
Add gravy, mushrooms and basil.
Cover and simmer for 50 minutes or until tender.
Serve on hot rice.
