This recipe for microwaved rum sauce is quick and very easy. Rum sauce goes greta with cakes like choclate cakes and other rum filled dessert recipes. The rum sauce is cooked with whipping cream, milk, sugar, cornstarch and butter with rum stirred in last for a heavy and tingling flavor.
Ingredients
  Whipping cream 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Milk 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Rum flavoring 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Mix whipping cream, milk, sugar and corn starch in 4 cup glass measure.
Add margarine.
Microwave 3 minutes; stir.
Microwave to boiling, 1 to 2 minutes.
Stir in rum.
