Peach Sauce

Ingredients
  Canned peaches 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄4 Tablespoon
Directions

In a heavy saucepan, mash 2 1/2 cups ripe or canned peaches.
Add 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1 tablespoon cornstarch.
Cook until clear and thick, stirring constantly.
Add 1 tablespoon butter and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg.
Sweeten with a little sugar or honey, if desired.
