Sliced Figs with Lemon Sauce

|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Unsweetened apple puree||150 Milliliter (0.25 Pint)|
|Lemon rind||1⁄2 Teaspoon, grated|
|Plain unsweetened yogurt||3 Tablespoon|
|Artificial sweetener||1 Teaspoon|
|Chopped pistachio nuts||1 Tablespoon|
1. Cut each fig into 4 wedges. (Alternatively, the figs can be sliced, provided they are not too soft.) Sprinkle the cut figs with lemon juice.
2. Mix the apple puree with the lemon rind and yogurt; add artificial sweetener to taste and half the chopped pistachios.
3. Spoon a pool of the lemon and pistachio sauce on to each of 4 small plates and arrange the pieces of fig decoratively on top.
4. Sprinkle with the remaining pistachio nuts and decorate with twists of lemon peel if liked.
