Ingredients
  Beef stew 2 Pound, cut in 1 inch cubes
  Tomato sauce 8 Ounce (1 can)
  Water 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Sherry 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Onion soup mix 1 Ounce (1 envelope)
Directions

Combine all ingredients in a 2-qt.covered casserole.
Bake 2 hours at 325° F.
Expect a liquid reduction in the sauce.
