Vegetables With Sweet And Sour Sauce is a simple dish that can be prepared quiet easily. I served it fro a couple of vegan friend who had come over and they raided the kitchen for more! Try this delicious Vegetables With Sweet And Sour Sauce recipe for yourself.
  Red pepper 1 Small
  Green pepper 1 Small
  Onion 1
  Carrot 1
  Celery stick 2
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Brown sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Chicken stock 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Vinegar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Salt To Taste

Cut the peppers into wedges, the onion into eighths and the carrot into wedges.
Slice the celery diagonally.
Drop the vegetables into boiling water and simmer for 5 minutes.
Mix the cornflour (cornstarch) with the soy sauce.
Put the sugar, stock and vinegar in a saucepan, bring to the boil and add cornflour (cornstarch) and soy sauce.
Simmer, stirring, for 2-3 minutes.
Add the vegetables and salt to taste and reheat.
Serve in a heated bowl.
