Mushroom Sauce

Remove the stems from 1/2 lb. mushrooms and cook them slowly in 2 cups, water about 20 min.
Slice mushrooms and measure liquor, use in place of an equal amount of milk in the Medium White Sauce.
A slice of onion cooked with the stems improves the flavor.
Saute the sliced mushroom caps until golden brown and add.
