Kidney In Wine Sauce is a sumptous dish that is simply a joy to prepare and serve. My family loves this meat preperation and so I make it often for our weekend luncheons. Try this Kidney In Wine Sauce recipe. You wont regret it. Trust me!
Ingredients
  Beef kidney 1 Pound
  Condensed beef broth 10 1⁄2 Ounce
  Chopped onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Carrots 2 , thinly sliced
  Celery rib 1 , sliced
  Dry red wine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon
  Cooked noodles 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Served Hot)
Directions

Split kidney lengthwise; remove membranes and hard parts.
Cut meat in cubes.
In saucepan combine meat, condensed broth, onion, garlic, and salt.
Cover; simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
Stir in carrot and celery; simmer, covered, till meat and vegetables are tender, about 25 minutes.
Blend wine with cornstarch.
Stir into meat mixture; cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
Serve over noodles.
Crockery cooker directions: Use ingredients as above.

In electric slow crockery cooker place meat, condensed beef broth, chopped onion, garlic, salt, thinly sliced carrot, and celery.
Cover; cook on low-heat setting for 10 to 12 hours.
Turn cooker to high-heat setting; bring mixture to boiling.
Blend wine with cornstarch; stir into meat mixture.
Cook and stir till thickened.
Serve.
