Pineapple Dessert Sauce Over Ice Milk
|Canned unsweetened crushed pineapple||20 Ounce|
|Grand marnier/Other orange-flavored liqueur||1 Tablespoon|
|Flaked coconut||2 Tablespoon|
|Orange rind||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Vanilla ice milk||1 Quart|
Drain pineapple, reserving 1/4 cup juice in a 1-quart glass measure.
Set pineapple aside.
Add cornstarch to reserved juice, stirring until well blended.
Stir in pineapple and liqueur.
Microwave at HIGH for 1 to 2 minutes, stir well, and microwave at HIGH for 3 to 4 minutes or until thickened.
Stir in coconut and orange rind; to serve, spoon 1/4-cup portions of warm pineapple sauce over 1/2-cup portions of ice milk.
