Profiteroles With Chocolate Sauce
|Choux pastry||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Heavy cream||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Semisweet chocolate||4 Ounce|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Coffee||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Put teaspoons of the choux pastry on a lightly greased baking sheet, and bake at 400 Â° F for 20 minutes.
Cool on a wire rack.
Whip the cream to soft peaks and use to fill the profiteroles.
Pile into a serving dish.
To make the sauce, chop the chocolate finely .
Process all the sauce ingredients in small quantities until smooth .
Serve the sauce hot or cold over the profiteroles.
Note The sauce may be made in advance and stored in a covered jar in a refrigerator.
