Veal Scallops, Tomato Sauce
|Vegetable oil||60 Milliliter|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm)|
|Veal scallops/Veal chops||6 Small|
|Canned tomato sauce||213 Milliliter|
|Water/White vermouth||125 Milliliter|
Preheat a browning dish (Corning) 7 minutes at HIGH.
Add the oil; heat 2 minutes at HIGH, brush one side of the scallops or chops with the paprika.
Without removing the dish from the oven, place the meat in the hot oil, paprika side down.
Press each piece of meat down with the fingers for good contact with the bottom of the dish.
Microwave 3 minutes at HIGH.
Turn the meat, add the garlic and onions, micro wave 1 minute at HIGH.
Remove the scallops or chops from the dish, and add the flour, salt, pepper and basil to the fat; stir.
Add tomato sauce, water or vermouth, mix well.
Microwave 4 minutes at HIGH, stir.
Add the veal, browned side on top, and make sure the bottom part is in the sauce.
Micro wave 3 minutes at MEDIUM and serve.
