Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Mushrooms 8 Large
  Salt To Taste
  Ground pepper To Taste
  Finely chopped shallots 2 Tablespoon
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Brown sauce/10 3/4 ounces canned beef gravy 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
Directions

Heat the butter in a frying pan and add mushrooms. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, and cook until mushrooms give up their liquid. Add the shallots and cook, stirring, until most of liquid evaporates. Add the water and lemon juice; cook one minute. Add the brown sauce; simmer 15 minutes.
