Rarebit Sauce

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Flour 1 Tablespoon
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Processed cheese/1 /2 cup grated cheese 1⁄4 Pound
  Beer/Ale 3 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Melt butter or margarine in small saucepan, and add flour and milk.
Cook until smoothly thickened; then stir in cheese.
Heat until cheese melts, and stir in beer.
Season to taste.
Makes approximately 1 cup sauce.
