Ice Cream Pie With Rum Fruit Sauce
|Vanilla wafer crumbs||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Wheat germ||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Ground nutmeg||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Diced mixed candied fruit||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Vanilla ice cream||1 Quart|
|Rum fruit sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Combine first 5 ingredients; mix well.
Firmly press crumb mixture evenly over bottom and sides of a buttered 9-inch pie plate.
Bake at 350Â° for 5 minutes.
Combine fruit and rum; fold into ice cream.
Spread ice cream mixture evenly over crust; cover and freeze until ice cream is firm.
To serve, spoon Rum-Fruit Sauce over each slice of pie.
