Ice Cream Pie With Rum Fruit Sauce

Ingredients
  Vanilla wafer crumbs 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Wheat germ 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Ground nutmeg 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Diced mixed candied fruit 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Rum 2 Tablespoon
  Vanilla ice cream 1 Quart
  Rum fruit sauce 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Combine first 5 ingredients; mix well.
Firmly press crumb mixture evenly over bottom and sides of a buttered 9-inch pie plate.
Bake at 350° for 5 minutes.
Cool completely.
Combine fruit and rum; fold into ice cream.
Spread ice cream mixture evenly over crust; cover and freeze until ice cream is firm.
To serve, spoon Rum-Fruit Sauce over each slice of pie.
