Italian Sauce With Noodles
|Italian sausage||1 1⁄4 Pound|
|Green pepper||1 Medium|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm)|
|Canned sliced mushrooms||4 Ounce|
|Canned whole tomatoes||16 Ounce|
|Tomato sauce||8 Ounce|
|Dried thyme||1 Teaspoon|
|Dried oregano||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Hot cooked noodles||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Remove casings from sausage.
Brown sausage in a large skillet, stirring to crumble.
Remove sausage from skillet, and drain on paper towels; reserve drippings in skillet.
Saute onion, green pepper, and garlic in drippings until tender.
Add next 6 ingredients and sausage, and Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.
Serve over noodles.
