Yams In Orange Sauce

Ingredients
  Yams 4 Medium
  Orange juice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Grated orange rind 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Melted butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Orange 1
Directions

Scrub yams and boil without peeling until tender. Drain; cool enough to handle. Remove skins and slice yams in thick slices. Place in buttered baking dish in a single layer. Mix remaining ingredients except orange slices, and pour over yams. Bake about an hour in a slow oven. Baste several times with syrup in dish. Add slices of unpeeled orange about last 10 minutes.
