Lemon Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients
  Butter 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Flour 1 Tablespoon
  Water 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 6 Tablespoon (frozen, fresh, or bottled)
  Tabasco 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Thyme 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Melt butter. Cook garlic in butter until clear; stir in flour. Add remaining ingredients and cook until slightly thick. Excellent as a basting sauce for broiling or grilling chicken or seafood.
