Peppers In Tomato Sauce
|Garlic salt||1 Teaspoon|
|Grated italian cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Salad oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Canned tomato sauce||5 Ounce|
"Slice peppers into halves; discard seeds.
Set 10 halved peppers aside; chop remaining halves.
Remove crust from bread; crumble bread into bowl.
Add chopped peppers, salt, pepper, parsley, thyme, garlic salt, cheese and eggs.
Mix well; stuff peppers with mixture.
Pour oil in baking dish; place peppers in dish.
Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
Add tomato sauce.
Bake, uncovered, for 15 minutes longer or until peppers are slightly browned.
