Cider Cream Sauce

Ingredients
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Onion 1 , thinly sliced
  Plain flour 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Dry cider 8 Fluid Ounce
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
  Grated nutmeg 1 Pinch
  Double cream 4 Fluid Ounce (For Serving)
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon (For Serving)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon (For Serving)
Directions

MAKING
1) In a pan, melt the butter into a pan, add the onion and saute till browned
2) Add in the flour and cook the mixture
3) Add in the cider and using a whisk, briskly whisk
4) Bring the sauce to a gentle boil
5) Add in the salt, pepper and the nutmeg
6) Add in the cream and bring to a simmer
7) Take off from the heat and tip in the butter
8) Add in the lemon juice (2 tablespoons)
9) Check for seasoning and serve

SERVING
10) Serve the sauce warm
