Bourbon Eggnog Sauce

Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄4 Pound
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Cream 1⁄2 Pint
Directions

"Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg; beat well.
Stir in cream; cook in double boiler over boiling water, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened.
Remove from heat; add bourbon.
