Sherry Sauce

Ingredients
  Powdered sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs), sifted
  Water 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Cornstarch 3 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Sherry 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
1 In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water.
2 Gradually bring to a boil.
3 In a bowl, combine cornstarch and sherry.
4 Stir until the cornstarch dissolves.
5 Gradually stir the cornstarch mixture into hot mixture.
6 Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce is smooth and thick.

SERVING
7 Serve as desired.
