Cherry Sauce

Ingredients
  Dark sweet cherries with juice 1 Pound
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Lemon peel 1 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Arrange the ingredients.

MAKING
2) Take a 4 cup glass measure, combine cherry juice and cornstarch, blend well.
3) Microwave (high) for 3-4 minutes, stirring every minute until thick and bubbly.
4) In the sauce, fold in cherries, lemon juice, salt and peel.
5) Again Microwave (high) for 1-2 minutes to heat throughout.

GETTING READY
6) Serve the cherry sauce on desserts or ham.
