Pizzaiola Sauce

Ingredients
  Olive oil 2 Tablespoon
  Onion 1 Medium
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm) (Large Clove)
  Canned italian tomatoes 35 Ounce (1 Can)
  Salt To Taste
  Freshly ground black pepper To Taste
  Dried oregano 1 Teaspoon
  Dried thyme 1 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Chop the onion coarsely and place aside.
2) Press the garlic and add to the onions.

MAKING
3) In a skillet, add oil and heat up.
4) Add the onion and garlic mixture and saute over medium heat until onion is soft.
5) Break up the tomatoes by squeezing through fingers.
6) Add these to the skillet along with the liquid.
7) Add remaining ingredients.
8) Cook the mixture for 15 or 20 minutes at just below boiling point.

SERVING
9) Use half of sauce to cook the meat. Serve the other part over noodles.
